Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Great room had a pool table, dart board and tons of room for our athletes to eat and play in. Storage room had an area to wax skis and a boot dryer for our wet ski gear, such a bonus! A great facility for our biathlon team to stay! We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Emily’s house! The house is not only beautiful and very cozy, but also perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need – and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere. What truly makes Velvet Fern Guesthouse special is the thoughtful and loving attention to detail: everything was personally and carefully prepared for our arrival, including a lovely breakfast and bikes we could use – such a kind touch! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. A welcome food hamper was waiting for us in our room. A clean room with a very comfortable bed. We had a fridge, and a coffee machine as standard, but there was also a free coffee machine (with a variety of different coffees) available to use at any time near reception.

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel and found it excellent. Its quality exceeds many 4 star hotels. Attractive lobby and dining areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. We could open the window rather than relying on aircon. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Our family loved the indoor pool and slide. Staff had good eating recommendations. I would happily stay there again and definitely recommend this hotel.

the location was quiet and so relaxing. Very nice separate room with Terrace and bath. Almost like a one room apartment. It has a TV and various utilities, Tee Coffee. Very helpful and nice hosts. It's great f you need a ride to the airport.
