It was my husband's birthday. I contacted in advance to have a birthday cake organised and they helped with a home made tiramisu! The accommodation was well thought out and had a comfortable common area to relax. The host was very nice and accommodating, rate 10/10

Fantastic place close to Gubei water town and Simatai Great Wall! The food was absolutely delicious and the hosts make us feel like we were at home. They help us with the driving and they took us to the airport on the last day for a very reasonable price. Thank you very much for everything, we loved our stay!

The place is a small guesthouse in a local holiday cooperative, 2km away from Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall. The hosts were very nice and helpful, trying their best to speak English, which is very appreciable in China. They proposed taxi for the Great Wall or the airport, they prepared dinner on-demand, which was quite good (dumplings, roasted eggplants, skewers...). The beds are very comfy and the shower water is hot. Very good value for the price.

I honestly loved everything there. It was such a lovely stay. Sue and Jack (the owners) are incredible friendly and so so helpful with everything. They picked me up from the trainstation and made me feel like home. They both cooked incredible good dinner and breakfast every day too. Organized for me to get to the great wall and picked me up again. It was very very nice and I will definitely come back one day!

It was a nice place for reasonable price. Big room, nice and silent location. The only thing hotel is 10 km away from Water Town, but Didi Taxi took about 25 yuan one way. So I didn’t feel this distance . Nice staff. Huge Chinese breakfast. Recommend it for those for whom taking taxi to hotel after walks in Water Town is not a problem. Most important address should be Beijing gubei yushang tourism culture development Center. Thank you for wonderful rest
