Very good new Hotel with pool and restaurant, even you have to tell them, what you would like to eat for dinner. But after excursions during the day it's nice to rest at night. Great staff. All of them smart and helpful. Mauricio and Diego at the reception, Fernando as waiter and handyman, Mari cooking and Marina cleaning the rooms. They organise tours for you.

Everything. The hotel is run by a very lovely and welcoming family who gave me lots of tips and recommendations and even helped me book my bus to my next destination. Amazing location close to the town and many wonderful hikes. The hotel has a view of the sunset and the sunrise. Rooms are very clean and get cleaned everyday. Showers with hot water. Very quiet for a good night sleep. Wifi is fast. I was even offered coffee in the morning with no extra charge. This hotel definitely made my stay in San Agustin perfect and I’ll definitely book it again, if I go back to San Agustin. Muchas gracias por todo..

I want to thank you, this was the best stay in Colombia! This stay was really great, all the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is so beautiful, and Jose was the best! The horse tour with Jose was wonderful! And he actually became our family friend (I stayed with three kids), and helped us with many little things like shopping. Finally, he saw our bus tickets to Ecuador that we bought from a travel agency, and realized that these tickets were illegal, and he went with us to demand back the money (actually involved the police!), and arranged for us a safer journey.

It was a great pleasure to stay at the Finca El Maco and it could not have been a more pleasant experience. Huaka-yo is set in pristine jungle scenery, so quiet and restful, a real chance to relax and rejuvenate. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and happy. I was woken to the sound of bird song and saw many different species. My en suite room was spacious with everything I needed. 250m from San Agustin Archaeological Park. The park is absolutely amazing with the most wonderful statues & tombs. An absolute must for anyone in this area.
