You step out of a beautiful, modern cabin right into a lush jungle vibe. So tastefully designed and decorated. The hosts were friendly but respectful of privacy, breakfast was tasty (eggs, fruit, toast). A little challenging road up to the property, but that’s just Dominican Republic everywhere.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. There are fresh fruits for breakfast and drinkable water throughout your stay. The location is good, 5 min walking to the beach. There are bars and restaurants around. Very calm and pleasant environment. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Casa Shambala for one week and we truly enjoyed our stay! The accommodation is amazing and just like in the photos. Everything is clean, modern and well taken care of. The owners were friendly and we felt very welcomed. We also had breakfast there every morning and it was great; every morning we had something different (scrambled eggs, cakes, crepes/pancakes, fresh fruits and juice..). The B&B is located approximately 200m from the beach and the main road where you can find restaurants and shops. Even though the main road can be quite busy, the pool area is quiet and we almost had the pool just for ourselves :) I have high standards for accommodations but I can definitely recommend Casa Shambala - you won’t regret it!

Having stayed in a few apartments in Las Terrenas, this is definitely my favourite. The pool is huge and absolutely beautiful. It’s kitted out with lights and speakers also. There are also huge day beds for relaxing and a large table. The host provides coffee, tea and cold water alongside many books and games. The host is very friendly and kind. The shower is very good, the beds are comfy, there’s a nice outside porch to each bungalow and a small kitchen area. The host provides really everything you could want or need. I would love to stay here again, I’m sad that I am leaving the DR and won’t be able to!

Loved this hotel. Great, clean room overlooking the pool. Blanca the office manager was very helpful and nice. The included breakfast was great. 20m walk to the beach and beautiful beach in both directions and a water tap outside the entrance to rinse your sandy feet after walking on the beach. Taxi stand right at the end of the street. Within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. 2 restaurants across the street from the hotel and a small grocery store. The pool was beautiful and always clean and had fun lights at night, which the kids loved. Price was right. Housekeeping staff and breakfast staff were very nice too.
