This hotel is highly recommended! The location is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable with lovely beds, the food is Nice and the staff is incredibly helpful. Excursions are well organised. It was great fun on the falucca with sunset.

We loved our stay here, beautiful location overlooking the Nile, and staff who will do anything for you. Loved the Nile boat ride with Ali, and Mr Mahmoud's breakfast on the roof terrace was superb. The King of Jamaica restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and serves great local food in a nice atmosphere. A great stay, particularly if you are looking for an authentic and local experience.

The location is amazing, a <5 minute walk from the ferries to go to the east side of Aswan. The room is quite adequate, with good shower and comfortable bed. It got a little cold at night, but I found an extra blanket in the wardrobe, so everything was good. There was free tea and coffee in the common area, and it was really nice being able to socialize with the other guests at the hotel. Habib owns both this property and one next to it, and breakfast is on the roof of the other property. Habib was very accommodating and lent me a charger when I noticed that I had left mine on a dahabiya boat. There are a few dogs around, but Habib and his staff were happy to walk me to places when I asked. I felt very safe staying at Habib's place. I would stay there again the next time I visit Aswan.

The hosts greeted us with a welcome drink, they were kind approachable and did everything so we felt like we're at home. Hamada took us to show us around the island, we rowed across the Nile and took a camel ride to st. Simeon monastary. Nubian people are truly beyond hospitable, they even invited us to have a tea with them in their house. The location is easily accessible by ferry, surroundings is peaceful. The apartment is simple, yet clean and there is shared kitchen available. Lots of caffes around so you can enjoy serene trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    Best value in Aswan if not Egypt. Opted for a Tent with Futon on the roof, which provided a wonderful view of the Nile and southern section of Elephant island . Very good breakfast and ample parking . Its a 15/20 minute walk to the Nile and Souk area of Aswan.

    The hotel is on the island, opposite the pier near KFC. The one-way ferry fee is 10P per person in peak season. Our car was parked in the parking lot near KFC, and there were often no parking spaces at night. The house itself is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly.
