It was absolutely beautiful, and the village was so peaceful. The renovations amazing. So much history to investigate and the walk up to the ancient church and castle ruins spectacular.

This was the second time we stayed at the property so we knew more or less what to expect, but we found that the barbecue/pool/chill out area was even better than the last time we stayed. Something I really appreciate is how relaxed the host Uli is - you feel more like you're coming to stay at a friend's place than a holiday rental. It was San Juan and the weather was great so we were mostly in and around the pool area during the day and we ate out at the barbecue area both nights, then we just went in the house to sleep. It was exactly the relaxing family long weekend we wanted and we're sure to come back again!

It’s very original and spacious. You don’t just get a room and ensuite, you get a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge room and an al fresco terrasse with nice views. There’s no shop, bakery etc in the village so it’s best to come prepared for dinner and breakfast.
