The hosts were warm and welcoming and yet allowed us our privacy. The 18th century mansion is elegantly decorated, the grounds and courtyard are stunning. The bedroom suite was fabulous and the linen clean and luxurious . The location was central yet calm and tranquil. Fantastic breakfast served in a beautiful dining room with lovely china and cutlery. We had croissants, local yoghurts and cheeses and lots of homemade produce including banana bread and jams.

We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged between 5 and 16 who stayed at this property to break up our journey to the UK and on our return a couple of weeks later. . We were all very impressed with the property. It was well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. There are some fantastic family photos on display that have all been taken at the property. This was a great conversation starter, with us all wondering about the family and the history of the property. We would not hesitate to book to stay here again if we were ever in the area. What a great apartment! We had a wonderful overnight stay here in sheer luxury. The jacuzzi and sauna were a real treat as everything is geared towards comfort and relaxation. The fully fitted kitchen and close proximity to a food shop meant we were able to make our own meal, which was great. The host, Nicolas was really friendly and left little touches like snacks and beer for us to enjoy and our breakfast, which arrived the next morning, was delicious and he had put milk, water and fruit juice in the fridge along with jams and Nutella to enjoy with breakfast. We felt truly pampered.

The room and facilities were very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, as you’d expect at a hotel chain. For convenience, we booked to stay out of town so we could park our car. Great to sit and have a drink in the common area. Would recommend.
