After a bit of a confusion, the host (Johnny) reacted very quickly and went great lengths to make sure that we were fine and satisfied. There was local pub at walking distance (through a pretty path),with great food and friendly staff. Johnny even set up the wood for us to light a fire after the evening meal. It was a very special evening! Thank you!

The breakfasts were excellent. Choices of cereals, juices, milks and yoghurts. Choice of white or brown bread. Tea or coffee offered. I took the full english breakfast, with choice of eggs (poached, scrambled or fried (sunny or over easy). Generous portions, quickly cooked and the service was outstanding. We will gladly return to the Two Sawyers, and are alredy planning our next visit.

    All the little touches were very much appreciated. The size of the garden was a surprise and would provide a peaceful spot to enjoy with a book. The car park is close by so is a pub and a cafe. We loved our walks the highlight of which was seeing a Barn Owl. Just loved the location. Winchelsea is well worth a visit.

    Very well presented and very clean Big garden - great for dog and for us to sit in and enjoy Nice seating area outside Lots of thoughtful touches - dressing gowns, flip flops, snacks/tea&coffee, dog bed, torch, fan, heater (& many more) Location is right by the nature reserve and close to the beach Very easy to find and check in Close parking available

    Location is perfect for Rye Harbour. Within a couple of minutes you are on the walking trail around the reserve. Good pub close by as well. The hut is lovely, quite spacious, very warm even on a cold January night and has a quirkiness about it. Bed if comfy though not big enough for two and a dog! Nice to have a spacious and enclosed garden for the dog. Free parking is handy. A memorable stay, perfect if you want the nature of the reserve more than being in the town itself. Will definitely come back soon... Thank you
