The property is beautiful and you can see the ocean from the room. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, the wifi was very good, and you could even drive your scooter on the black sand in the sunset. I would gladly return.

Nice and quiet hostel with everything. I needed for a short stay. The fan in the room worked well and the bed was comfortable enough. I liked that the staff gave local food tips without me even asking they seemed genuinely helpful.

Over the years of traveling, I have seen many hostels. This one is among the best, comparable to Seattle hostels. Very clean, comfortable, everything is well-organized in the house, comfortable sleeping places. The owner is very hospitable! Right on the spot, they organized a tour to the volcano Ijen for me, for which I came here. The place is quiet, calm, on the river bank, but there are no mosquitoes. A dream of a perfectionist traveler!😃

Ida is a wonderful guest, she made me feel like home with her homemade and local food. Delicious! She took the time to sit down with me for a nice chat and I felt very comfortable all the time. We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip in Bali. This retreat, which is located in a small rice field, has a nice view on the nearby mountains. It is owned and managed by the host Made & his family. They are very kind, helpful and hospitable people. It’s possible to book several activities in the surrounding area from the retreat. We booked a snorkeling tour and it was totally worth it. The host also helped us book a dinner at a nearby beach. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a peaceful place to reside in North-Wast Bali.
