Everything was exceptional! The hosts are amazingly kind and generous. Peso picked us up from the overnight bus and let us into our rooms at 7am, gave us breakfast and got us on his tour for the day. He’s a great guide and runs very smooth tours, he is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Toraja culture and history, his English is good. The room and house is of hotel standard, with homestay personal care and attention. The cleanest feet I’ve had in Indonesia! The best homestay of our travels! The food is delicious and abundant! Quiet location yet central enough, beautiful views. The hosts also dropped us at the bus station for our returning overnight bus, after our 3 day stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Ibrah was an absolutely amazing host. He couldn’t do enough for us. The place was spotless, the breakfast was huge and room were perfect! It felt like a real family home in Toraja! We had a wonderful stay. Views around are very beautiful. Very tasty food. Familly owning the homestay is very kind. Yansen took us to see the funeral ceremony and showed us around the town which was very interesting. He speaks very good english and is very knowledgable on the history and culture. Speaking about homestay, the rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. There was a hot shower. Also bed was very comfortable. We rented a scooter and had a ride around town and surrounding areas, which was very beautiful. 10/10 expierence overall, would definetely recommend and I would love to come back again!

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents! Such lovely people it felt like we were a part of their family; they took care of us so well and were so welcoming. Felt right at home. Thank you!!

We had an amazing 4-days stay at Purabarang. The room is big and clean, with a private bathroom with hot shower, and a nice terrace above the paddy fields. Breakfast was delicious everyday. But mostly, Paulus and his family made us feel at home. Paulus guided us to a funeral ceremony and a day tour in some villages. He speaks very well English so you can learn many things on the Toraja country. He also helped us book transportation and homestay for our next destination. We could rent him scooter to visit the region. We highly recommend this homestay!!
