This Homestay was the definition of what a perfect Indonesian Homestay experience should look like. The amazingly kind family took me in as a child of their own. I happened to become a little sick during my stay due to too much travelling in the previous days so the family responded by giving my medicine, bringing me tea, and telling me to rest up for as many days as I might need until I felt better. I felt as if I was at home. And along with that, they offer scooters rental for 100k per day, washing for 20k per kilo and delicious and filling meals all around the clock upon request for only 25k per meal. The father of the family also can take you to a traditional Toraja funeral ceremony if you ask him. Without exaggeration, this has been one of my favourite and most wholesome Homestays during my 6 month long Asia travels. Thanks so much again and I can’t wait to come back

Our stay with you was wonderful. The hotel is very comfortable with great beds that were so large. The view out over the rice fields with the mountains behind was magical. Staff were all really cheerful and friendly and helpful and we felt so lucky to stay here. Thanks to the wonderful staff.

Highly recommended! I have never experienced so much helpfulness anywhere else. The accommodation is clean, in a good location, in a nice environment. The owner and his whole family are extremely friendly. They are always ready to help with anything: organizing tours, getting to know the area, information about culture and anything else. The family was very kind and Yansen was great guide. Yansen showed us all the interesting places around Rantepao and shared his personal knowledge and experiences about the culture which was super interesting. The food in homestay was the best food I have had in Indonesia. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

As other reviewers have said , a very comfortable home stay in a beautiful location . comfortable beds , hot showers and a lovely view from all of the rooms . The hosts Monike and Geri are very responsive on what’s app and helped us make a night bus reservation from Makassar and arranged for us to be collected from the bus stop at 5am. Monike really is a wonderful cook , extremely generous meal sizes too! they put us in touch with a local guide who provided an excellent overview of Toraja in 2 days including a funeral ceremony . highly recommend

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents! Such lovely people it felt like we were a part of their family; they took care of us so well and were so welcoming. Felt right at home. Thank you!!

I loved the location with amazing views from the balcony of the property. Paulus and his wife were both extremely helpful with any requests such as organising trips around Toraja and event drove me to the bus station on my return. Breakfast was delicious also! I found it a great opportunity also to meet other guests travelling around Sulawesi.
