Spacious; relaxed feel and use of outdoor dining area enhanced the summer feeling; great character and furnished to suit; good wifi; kitchen well equipped and good laundry facilities. We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Everything! The house is spacious, warm and inviting. It was a cool evening outside, but the property was toasty warm inside. We received a warm welcome before being directed to our room. The room too was spacious, spotlessly clean and had plenty of storage space. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, with a choice of full Irish breakfast, cereal or scrambled eggs. The host was a lovely lady, very funny and welcoming and really went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location is great too, only a short drive from Ferns and Enniscorthy where we were visiting. Plenty of parking too, and it's a lovely private location, secluded from the roadway, so secure too.
