This was a lovely cottage on a countryside farm but was just off a main road which meant it was accessible, 10 minutes from the town. The owner left freshly made scones for our arrival and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. My in laws were staying here for our wedding and was such a picturesque backdrop for some photos. The cottage was clean and tidy with plenty of utensils etc to prepare meals etc.

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. I loved how clean it was! It was all we needed for a cozy stay. We received the instructions prior to the arrival which were very clear on how to get the jacuzzi going. The water in jacuzzi was fresh as well! We also got the local chipper deliver to us while we were relaxing in the jacuzzi. Also it’s only a 15min walk to the local pub. Amazing stay, definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice city break and a private jacuzzi with amazing river Derry views.
