Everything about this property was perfect. Great location as we were attending a wedding in Garryvoe hotel which was only 2 mins drive from the house. The house and room were absolutely stunning. And our host Aisling was very friendly and welcoming!

Staying at Happy Hill is better than staying at a five-star luxury resort or your own home. The owners are two of the most thoughtful and welcoming people I have ever met and know how to make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. We arrived after a terrible night in which the little girl had stomach problems, we had to check in at 8pm, we advised that, given the situation, we would do it immediately at 5pm. We showed up, desperate, at 3pm and Anne and Mark were ready. They had changed our room to allow us to manage the situation more comfortably and they were very attentive. The rooms are delightful, furnished with true taste and extremely comfortable. They are very clean, I had to lie down under the bed to retrieve a peluche and I didn't see even a speck of dust. The breakfasts are plentiful and delicious! Ask for the yogurt because, I don't know what they put in it, but it's amazing. The place is quiet and we used it as a base to travel around the south west of Ireland without problems. Go there! You won't regret it!

The owner is very accommodating an pleasant. The facilities are functional and comfortable if not luxury. Bottom line, if you want a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price with an exceptional hostess and camaraderie then consider Ballynona House for sure.

Our stay at Ardsallagh Lodge exceeded our expectations! The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and the house very accommodating. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland and Aniko's savoury scones were delicious. She was also very helpful with interesting suggestions what to visit in the area, as this was our first visit to Ireland. Both Aniko and her husband John were extremely welcoming and made us feel quite at home. This is a fantastic place, not to be missed.

    Lovely room with great en suite shower, wc and washand basin. Room was bright, clean, quiet and secure. Easy parking available right outside and easy check in. The Old Thatch pub 200m away does good bar meals, has a small restaurant area and serves a fine pint of Guiness. Great base to explore a beautiful part of Ireland.

    A lovely decorated cosy attractive double room with a really clean modern ensuite shower room, really comfy bed. I could hardly hear the guests in the one other room next door. There is tea, coffee and a large shared fridge downstairs in the entrance hall shared with just the one other room. Its just a 3 minute walk to the shop and restaurants and pubs, on the edge of Killeagh village, with free private parking. Centra shop with full breakfast opens at 7am , 7 days a week. There are good blinds on the windows.
