Beautiful place, fantastic baths. The food was very good as well. I was impressed by how they accommodated my crustacean allergy. The staff are lovely and tried their best to speak English to their non-Japanese customers. I was able to speak some Japanese so I could converse with them better, but I appreciate their effort!

Good location, sufficiently near to Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Two supermarkets within a short drive away. It is best to reach the place by your own car. The house is very well designed, decorated and maintained. Futaba-san is very accommodating and kind. He has extended his hospitality from the moment we booked the accommodation till the day we left, and always so courteous.
