Great place to stay and experience kinosaki for the first time. Mr Hatchi and his staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. They also did an amazing job at providing me with full vegetarian meals for breakfast and dinner, I was so Impressed by the quality (and quantity!! I didn’t miss out on anything being a veggie). The rooms are a good size and ours had a lovely seating area with a view over the Main Street. The 2 baths in the property were amazing and you could use them privately in the afternoon/evening (great for me as I was too shy to go to the public ones!). The tea ceremony was lovely when we arrived and I was helped into my Kimono. The location is fantastic and Mr Hatchi even helped us with luggage on departure. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The hotel is extreamly comfortable, clean, pleasant. Although it does not have restaurante, but it is right next to restaurant and hotel offers common area where guests can prepare food and drink conveniently. Onsen and ski resort are within walking distance. Staff are helpful and cordial.

Staying here was the highlight of our Japan trip, the city of Kinosakionsen is really charming and the Natur around it really worth a visit. Yuku is the best host! From picking us up at the at the train station to renting us some Bikes (to get into town) to driving us back to the station at 06:40 in the morning, we’re really thankful for her. The stay itself was comfortable and clean, it really was like staying at a friends place, the atmosphere was really relaxed and casual. If we ever come back we‘ll stay here again! Thank you again Yuku!

We had the best time at Shinzan Kinosaki! The staff was friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room during our check-in and we were absolutely blown away by the place and treatment. Extremely clean, beautiful and luxurious feeling. Both the dinner and breakfast were amazing experiences, it was fun to walk around in the yukata provided by the hotel and the onsen experience itself was very nice. Absolutely nothing negative to highlight, We will definitely return during our next visit to Japan!

I loved everything! Check in was a breeze, they made sure to show us where everything is and also offered to make hot tea during checking. The facilities was perfect, it was very traditional and they did everything proper. The room was great, it was HUGE and had everything you could need. It was raining and they gave us umbrellas, they also gave us yukata's and slippers (you can choose what type) to walk around the town to go to the Onsens. The food for dinner and breakfast was chefs kiss!

We were there for our honeymoon and loved pretty much everything about our stay there. The property is so well renovated with clear wooden floors, the rooms are impeccably clean, the staff and especially Iwasaki-San took such good care of us. Wonderfull Old style building. Very japanese style decorated rooms. Everyone is trying to make your stay best possible. Food is amazing, private baths as well. Location in the heart of Kinosaki Onsen. Personel is speaking more English (or at least have preapred more cards in English) than in most places in Kyoto which is helpfull. If someone wants chilling time with excellent quality food and place to sleep we really do reccomend.
