I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. Lovely location in a beautiful property. The pool was lovely. Tranquil and quiet (apart from a bit of noise from building work nearby). The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good, the sour dough bread was lovely toasted! the rooms were well appointed and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. All in all a lovely stay!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Quiet and surrounded by forest. Right at the edge of the lake. Just be advised, the hostel is about 2+km from the town and the beach. The owner is super friendly. He really goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. Free drinking water to refill your bottles. Bicycles to borrow to go into town. Lots of great small additions that make this place really special.

The place was beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and very well equipped. The personnel Nishanthi and her family (mother and her husband) were so warm and friendly. The first day at check in Nishanthi offered a fresh juice made of passion fruits from her garden. She recommended us to go kayaking which we did, it was beautiful we saw many varans, bats, birds, and beautiful nature. At check out her husband cut a fresh coconut for us and took us for free to the train station. We highly recommend this place. everything was great.
