Jay’s and Anju’s place is one that cannot be missed! ! Located on the route from Dambulla to Kandy close to both cities and many other attractions, like hill walks or waterfalls. The hospitality they offer is 5 star and the authentic food, mostly prepared from ingredients grown in their garden, is just unbeatable. You can feel Anju puts her heart and soul into the food. You must visit if not for the night then for some authentic, delicious Sri Lankan food! Thank you for an amazing experience ❤️

We loved our stay at Paradise Forest Garden! It’s a little off the beaten track, but well worth it for the cosy, boutique-style atmosphere that feels more like a homestay. The staff were incredibly attentive, making our experience even more special. The pool overlooks the mountains, creating one of the most breathtaking backdrops I’ve seen. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely hot shower and great water pressure. The real highlight was the staff—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making our stay perfect. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the amazing, varied dinners prepared by a talented in-house chef. Nothing was too much trouble! A few sun loungers by the pool would have been nice (as there are only chairs or grass), but otherwise, it was perfect! This isn’t ideal for those just passing through or using their room as a base, as dinner each evening seems to be expected. It was perfect for us, but if you plan to be out all day or prefer to eat elsewhere, this may not be the best fit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pradeep and his family who runs the hotel are very genuine and friendly persons who do their best to make sure your stay with them are great. When we firs came Pradeep took us with him to watch the sunset from one of the fields nearby. He showed us around their farm and told us about the different trees and vegetables they grow. Breakfast and dinner are Sri lankan, very tasty and well prepared. Overall it's a place with a very family friendly atmosphere and for us it was a great place to start our Sri lankan adventure.

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo
