The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

The hosts are a wonderful family, super friendly and helpful. They built those beautiful apartments nearby the river allowing visitors to be in the centre of the rainforest. The river is quite loud so one needs to hear that in mind but I personally loved it, such closeness to nature.

One of the most beauiful guesthouse during our stay in Srí Lanka. It is super clean! The hosting family are so kind and helpful and the rainforest tour was absolutely the favorite part of my stay. They saw our sunburn and offered us fresh aloe vera to treat is. The view from the terrace is spectecular! I just hope I can visit this place again the future.

Stunning property , emersed nature. We loved everything about it. Beautiful buildings and lovely creek flowing past. Sadly the pool wasn’t full as they had had some big rain. The owners were very apologetic though. We will visit again so we get to swim in the pool.

Location, food, nature, people. Everything was absolutely fantastic! First of all, we were in the jungle, close to plantations with rice fields in which peacocks live (!). It looks amazing. Nelum organized a trip to the jungle for us. His brother Achi was a great guide so we saw a lot of animals: hanging parrots, kingfishers, monkesy, snakes, spiders, chameleons, lizards and a civet (!) on the terrace. The sounds of chipmunks, birds, monkeys and an elephant (?) woke us up in the morning. Sinharaja Rest offers really delicious food. Don't hesitate to buy dinners even if you bought BB only. One more thing: the hotel is built on the rock which can be seen inside!!!

Sinharaja Forest Lodge is the perfect getaway for nature lovers! The lodge is nestled right next to the Sinharaja rainforest, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. For us, it eas the high light of our Sri lankan adventure Thank you both!!
