Udar awas an excellent host who took an interest in us and did everything he could to make our stay memorable. He took us to a local beach and showed us around. He also accompanied us as a guide on our Yala safari day after making all the arrangement for it. Breakfast and dinner were very good and more than enough. On the early start safari day, breakfast was packed for us to eat later. Very good wifi and the house is spacious and comfortable.

+1. This is a fairly new adventure hotel with 3 well appointed TENT ROOMS, 1 large Delux Room, a lovely open style lunch hall, and a BBQ style dinner area in the garden. Small, simple, well maintainted, and very practical hotel. +2. I recommend staying at the TENT ROOMS. it's a great experience of you like adventure. +3. The owner and host, THISARA is very attentive, helpful and an absolute professional. We wish him great success. +4. The husband wife duo staff members NISHANI & ISHAN were absolutely fantastic. They make your stay smooth. JAYALATH, the 3rd staff member, was so helpful and did a great job organising the BBQ dinner. +5. A BBQ dinner along with local food items from the menu is a must. Don't miss that. Make sure to do that. You will love it. A great experience, especially for families with children. +6. They organised our Yala jungle safari with a very good driver who spoke English, and did everything he can to make our jungle safari memorable. A big thank you to him. +7. Overall, this is a really good small adventure hotel that is well run by THISARA. I truly believe in helping, encouraging and promoting small hotels that are absolute gems with good onwers and lovely workers. Our very best wishes are with with you guys.

The property was an excellent getaway into the wilds. We wanted to do two national parks and the wild culture was an amazing place to stay and the provided the booking for both yala and udawalawe national parks. Was so nice of them to prep ice box and some snacks for the national parks. The service there is high standards. Also expect good signal there. Upul we called him (Mr. Tuna) was the best service guy at the stay, funny and gave us good advices and so friendly. The breakfast was supper even the dinner try the beef kuttu.

The team at Wild Coast were very attentive and very friendly and positive in their roles, we were treated like royalty. The rooms were exceptional and very comfortable. The bath was amazing and the products provided were a great thought by the resort. The food was next level and we attempted to try something different each night however it was hard as our first night the meal was exceptional and it was hard to not have it again. I think the pool in both the room and the resort were the perfect size and temperature. The wildlife around the resort is great and you are encouraged not to interact with it to ensure it stays as nature should! However the monkeys did scare me a little! Overall a perfect experience and I would highly recommend at least a 2 night stay !

Yakaduru Lodge is an amazing place to visit. We enjoyed a fantastic safari and saw many elephants bathing in the lake and playing. On Yala roads, we were thrilled to see leopards in their natural habitat. We had tea on the rocks during an amazing sunset, which was a breathtaking experience. At night, we participated in a Hoppers Night with the staff, where we cooked and enjoyed colorful hoppers together. The accommodation plan at Yakaduru is very traditional and sustainable. The views from the rooms are stunning, and the whole place has a great vibe. We felt like we were living in a traditional Sri Lankan village with many little houses. You might think it’s not good or too traditional when you look at them from the outside, but the rooms have all the modern facilities you need. We highly recommend Yakaduru for everyone. It’s a wonderful experience that combines the beauty of nature with the charm of traditional Sri Lankan culture.

Camp leopard gave us the ultimate experience! Great accommodation and a beautiful garden were we had dinner every night next to the camp fire. The full day safari is a must! We saw so much wild life, including a leopard and a bear and at lunch time we had a perfect spot at the river for a picnic and a swim. The host, Marc, went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Yala. He is fun and very knowledgeable about literally every animal and bird in the park. The next day we did a half safari and for the afternoon Marc had organized a safari in Udawalale (with the elephants) with their female ranger Chathu. She is wonderful, fun and knowledgeable and we had such a great time. We will definitely come back next year!
