We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!

Lovely place to stay. Hosts are extremely friendly and obliging and genuinely want their guests to have the best experience possible. Rooms exceptionally clean and lots of thoughtful touches. Delicious breakfast including homemade yoghurt and marmalade. We were also provided sandwiches and snacks since we were arriving later on Boxing Day -really thoughtful.

The room was cozy with a comfortable bed in a nice garden setting. There was a relatively short bush walk down to the beach. The bush was filled with birds including a kākā and some parakeets. It is also on the way out to Tāwharanui where we brought our red lights and encountered kiwi almost right away at night.

    The location of this apartment was lovely as it looked out onto the garden and bush, very quiet and relaxing. Short stroll to the main shopping area of Matakana. Well appointed kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Tasteful and clean furnishings plus a very comfy bed. Great off street parking as well.
