The reception staff were welcoming and friendly the shared kitchen was modern clean and tidy (it could have done with an extra toaster) having just the one. We were in room 312 which was a little larger than the others having a single bed in it as well but was warm and comfortable.

Wonderful place - will be back. Well fitted out, great environment. Huge room with lots of options built into how different users / groups might use it - from families to friends and solo travellers. Staff were great and so helpful

The lady was extremely nice and pleasant: hot muffins to welcome us, sending back an item which we had forgotten, nice piece of advice... The room was clean and large, and the location in Owaka is perfect to discover the Catlins.

Staying at the Tiny House was a great new experience close to nature. We loved the silence and peace below the big trees. We also loved the sound of the birds singing. The house was very clean, well equipped, and everything worked fine. A small roof above the front door would be more  comfortable, though. We can really recommend staying at Tiny House.
