Charming 1930s house in local neighborhood of very small town of Gamboa. Great location amidst the rainforest - we saw all kinds of birds and animals. The house is lovely, has high ceilings, fans, mosquito netting on the windows and is very comfortable. Gamboa is a lovely small rural place to stay and Jorge was a wonderful host.

The grounds are lovely, tucked away in a private piece of jungle. The pool is very clean and nice, and the units provide opportunity for solitude with ample privacy. The very best thing about Monkey Lodge is the family that runs it. They are so accommodating and kind, and have a great deal of knowledge. We had tours with the father and son, and both tours were incredible. (take their advice and get up and out early for tours) I had some confusion with transports to other locations, and the family was incredibly helpful in straightening out my mess, even after I departed the lodge. It was a totally awesome experience, and I will return for a visit.

The hotel was an amazing experience. It really works for disconnecting. There’s hot water and air conditioning, and yes, an amazing view. Additionally, the staff is very friendly, and the host is really good. You can do kayaking on the lake and enjoy really good meals, we really enjoyed.

Summit Rainforest & Golf Resort is set in a tropical rainforest within the Camino de Cruces National Park, just 1.2 mi from the Panama Canal.

Since we arrived the attention was 10/10, the restaurant had a very good buffet the pool area perfect!

Great place! You have everything you could need: parking, laundry equipment, comfortable rooms, a kitchen with enough implements, an amazing pool. The neighborhood looks safe. Incredible location, everything is near. The host was not at home, but we didn't have any issues when we needed to reach her, and she was always willing to make our experience the best possible.
