Lovely hotel! The rooftop swimming pool was a dream. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bikes were fun to use and ride around the city and waterfront. Found good a restaurant,always a plus, for non speaking Chinese travelers.Pi Coconut Bistro.Yum.Would stay there anytime.

Clean, friendly owner. Lots of down-home touches. Coming from glitzy accommodation in the big cities in the coastal plain, Checheng is a little more of a grassroots kind of place, but clean and comfortable.

For a good price, I was able to get a private room with a private hot spring. The staff member watching the front desk didn't speak English, but with google translate he was able to help me with my questions. The hotel seems a little dated, but is functionally well equipped. I had a comfortable stay--I particularly enjoyed the hot spring.
