management is super friendly. the restaurant behind the stay is extremely delicious. value for money, surrounded by morning markets in walking distance, breakfast solved, night market is very close, got lots of nice food. further north got plenty of restaurants. mostly importantly, tourism locations also not too far. definitely will stay here again if i ever stop by this town again.

Fabulous location, great staff, and comfortable, spacious room. My wife and I were particularly impressed with Bruce and Amber who went over and beyond to make our stay delightful. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was equipped with a refrigerator and a clothes washer, which we appreciated hugely after being on the road for two weeks. Parking for our car was located just steps away from the main entrance. We appreciated the electronic door locks which eliminated the responsibility of looking after a room key. After conversing with Bruce about where to eat in Tainan, he gave us a list of his personal favourites. We particularly liked his recommendation for finding a vendor for Mango Shaved Ice. On our own, we found a great hot pot restaurant just a two block stroll away. The location of the Syuan Hotel was excellent, being close to the Confucius Temple, Snail Alley and other sites. The superb Tainan Night Market is only a 10 minute taxi ride away; Anping Old Street takes about 20 minutes. Our photos of the room were taken when we departed. The room looked much better on arrival.

Placed in the vibrant old heart of Tainan, it will be very convenient to reach all the key places and restaurants by short walks. Very nice Japanese style feeling thus with all modern comforts and amenities. We found ice cubes ready in the freezer, this gives already a plus point to the mindful attitude of the host.

The lady at the reception was amazing! She was able to book 3 seats for us in the speed boat going from Budai to Magong when all the intermediaries (kkday, klok...) displayed "fully booked" because of the fireworks festival in Penghu... She also booked for us a car (at a very competitive price, cheaper than Uber) to go from Tainan to Budai harbor in the morning. Convenient location Big family room Very clean High quality coffee ☕ machine in the lobby
