Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve travelled the world and stayed in many top hotels, but something about this place was unique and had me smiling from start to end. After a long safari, this place was simply heaven. So many amazing unique aspects of the hotel and I hope the owner and team get the success they deserve from this place. Amazing decor/style Top staff - especially the owner. Kind, polite, helpful, friendly. No request was too much. Food was great Rooms were so cool, stylish, comfortable and unique Chilled atmosphere Amazing views (but we were actually unlucky with the weather) I’d recommend this stay to anyone in the area, either doing mountain hike or safari.

A family run operation, Mr Victor and his brother Beatus, and team are very friendly, approachable. Communications with Beatus on WhatsApp makes things so much easier. Most of all they have many years of professional experience running a safari business, organising Mt Kili treks, offering cultural tours, day trips from the home location. You are in very capable hands. Ensuring safety, enjoyable activities or a successful climb. Staying 2 nights and chatting with the team, i am impressed with the kindness, utmost level of dedication to make everything work. I only booked the 1 day Shira Plateau trek, it was immensely enjoyable and fun. Excellent guide Babu taking care of us. This trek is easy level, i would highly recommend it. The home is sort of up on a slope, offering vantage views. Rooms are basic, spacious and very comfortable, most with ensuite bathroom. The meals are excellent, great service from the family. More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.
