It is the hidden gem of Ben Tre. We stayed in a bungalow facing the water and hidding away in the middle of a huge fruit garden. Friendly host, friendly staff. Good authentic Vietnamese food.

Fantastic stay, very good dinner cooked each night with excellent variety. Join in the cooking if you like and learn local dishes. If they are doing a tour of Cai Be with hotel guests, I highly recommend this tour. The tour is far better than what is available at CanTho. Breakfast is very good, eggs, fruit, bread. Feels like being welcomed by a family this stay. Extended my stay because I was comfortable there.

The property is not in the most touristy area. Don't expect to see a lot of foreigners/travellers on this island, which is one very good reason to stay here in my case. Food is really GREAT. Everything is super tasty, and prices are affordable. I did not have much expectations about the room on the river, but it turned out to be great! It was a wild experience which I don't regret, but it's not for everyone though (yep you can find a lot of bugs, insects, bees, etc, and there are big and small noisy boats passing on the river all night long). I loved the experience

The staff was very kind and helpful with everything. They even booked us a bus to our next destination and ordered shuttle cars and all. Boat ride from the harbour to the lodge was included and very good, fast and easy. You could also take bikes to ride around the nearby roads and villages. There was lots of space and sunbeds at the pool, towels for pool use. Water was nice and clean and temperature was nicely cooling but not too cold. The room was big enough for three adults, the bathroom was huge and clean and the ac was excellent. We booked a boating tour from the lodge and it was super fun, interesting and well organized. We learned a lot about local people and their habits as well as some ways they work in the area. Privacy, calmness, coziness and the scenery were perfect for a little holiday out of the rush in the city.

We absolutely loved our stay here. So peaceful, lovely staff, stunning gardens growing organic food and beautiful views of the delta. The food at the restaurant is great - I recommend the lemongrass chicken, local fish and the Vietnamese pancake. The manager was very helpful with booking our onward travel and generally being attentive. A perfect place to go if you want to see the delta but also chill out and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The room was spacious, hotel area well kept with lots of shade, sitting spots, plants and garden. The pool was the highlight for our kids - spacious, most of the time only for us, right on the riverbanks of Mekong. The hotel manager ( lady at the reception) was very helpful, aranged for us a short boat trip with biking and even went with us as guide. Bikes were available for us during the ehole stay. The area is not turisty at all, we havent´t seen any other foreign turist in 3 days in the village - this was a plus for us, but can be a minus for other people.

It is a lovely island where you can bike around and meet local Vietnamese people. The ecolodge is a lovely place with a very laid back vibe. The host arranged a nice tour by car to local sites including Xeo Quyt Forest and the Sa Dec flower markets as well as arranging our onwards journey.
