Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

Gutshof zum Schluxen also offers free parking, and free WiFi access. We enjoyed the stay in Gutzhof zum Schluxen very much since it's located in a calm valley right next to a farm but still not too far from more touristic places such as Neuschweinstein castle or the town of Füssen. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We liked that we could order fresh Brezels for breakfast and in the evening we enjoyed the Spielzimmer where we played ping-pong. The accomodation also offers fresh coffee and tea, drinks, snacks or even pizza, which you can buy anytime during the day. Overall, I'd really recommend this beautiful place and will gladly return some day.

Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. Definitely will come back to that place not just for overnight, but at least 3-5days. Exceptional clean, well equipped apartment, quite surrounding of Alps view. Good restaurants just 5 min of driving or 20 min by foot.

This hotel is located between Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle on the Romantic Road, 4 km from Füssen. Hotel Müller offers elegant rooms and a Bavarian-style restaurant. Free WiFi is available in all rooms and public areas. Simply the best location in the area. excellent breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here and actuly went back again.

Swimming and water sports are possible at the Forggensee Lake, which is 8 minutes away on foot. The A7 motorway is 7 minutes away and provides access to Bavaria’s Romantic Road. Free parking is available at the Christine Hotel. We arrived early by car. Onsite free parking was a big plus. We were allowed to check into our room several hours before check in time. The staff was most friendly and accomodating. Walking distance from the hotel lies the Old Town of Fussen. The ‘Rewe’ grocery was just a short walk away. Most impressive was the breakfast both in presentation, variety and taste. We would definitely book here again when we return to Fussen.
