The spot is super peaceful, with bamboo forests right outside the window—felt like waking up in a nature postcard! The owner is AMAZING—super friendly and knows EVERYTHING about the area. Need a hike recommendation? A taxi booked? Hidden local spots? Just ask them; they’ll sort it out in seconds. And the food?! Homestyle local dishes that tasted like grandma's cooking. Make sure to pet the cat at the reception, his name is 大吉, which means good fortune! Perfect mix of cozy vibes, best views, and hassle-free stays. 10/10 would come back!

The location was at the foot of Huangshan, making it very easy to hike up and down the mountain in a single day. Staff were also friendly and polite. Hiking poles and raincoats were provided to make the hike up much easier. The hotel staff paid great attention to detail and I would certainly recommend this hotel for a visit to Huangshan!

As a family-run hotel, the service was personal and attentive. The location was absolutely perfect - the bigger and more expensive hotels are further away from the mountain and offer no view of it, and while they offer shuttle services up, the short walk to the mountain is a great experience in and of itself. The owner helped us book a shuttle from the train station to the hotel as well. The rooms were recently renovated when we stayed, with a nice shower stall (which was necessary after the mountain climbing!) and comfortable beds. All amenities one would generally need are included. While there is no elevator, there are only a few floors and the owner carries the luggage up. For the price, an excellent choice.
