We travelled with 5 adults and were impressed with the facilities of the house and the location. The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds. Washing machine, tumble dryer, 2 bathrooms - top condition. The house has everything you would expect from home. Nothing had to be left out. A fantastic location with breathtaking views over the sea and divine tranquillity. The splashing of the waterfall on the doorstep completed the harmonious atmosphere. A good place from which to explore all parts of the individual islands by hire car. The host was always available and could answer our questions. We forgot our lunch boxes in the fridge when we left. Our host Sjurdur spared no effort and sent them back to us in Germany. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again:-)

Excellent accommodation where we spent the first four days of our stay in the Faroe Islands. Very good location, close to places to visit on the island of Vagar and also close to the airport. The house is perfectly equipped, even better than described in the booking (the kitchen has been renovated and has a dishwasher, for example). We would definitely do it again.

Cottage was traditional, cosy and spotlessly clean. Like others wrote, it’s small so the tall among us had to stoop a bit. The stairs is steep. It is a cottage after all ;) Space in cottage is very well planned, my two teenage children were delighted to have a bedroom each (there was even a 4th bedroom for a smaller child). Kitchen is very well equipped to make all meals. I can honestly say I can’t remember if I ever have eaten my meals with such a good view. The sounds of the sheep, birds and water were wonderful. The weather was quite cold, wet and windy - the cottage was cosy and warm - perfect after being out in such weather. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

It was a cosy, clean house. Small sleeping room but super nice to sleep in. Not cold and very close to stores and malls. Highly recommended when you stay at Faroe Island!
