We both loved our 2 night stay at Sarah and David’s beautiful home in Exmouth. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and encouraged to make use of the separate sitting/dining area that is made available to guests. A big bonus was the tea & coffee available for us at any time throughout our stay. And each afternoon Sarah left out some gorgeous homemade cookies for us too! We slept very well as the bed was comfortable and the room was really quiet. Lovely pillows, linen and towels too and the shower was great. Breakfast each morning was divine! Juice, quality cereals and bread, plus a wide choice of cooked breakfast on offer. The house is 10-15 minutes from the seafront promenade and the town centre but it’s tucked away in a quiet corner so you really don’t hear any noise. I would definitely recommend the Guest House to anyone looking for a home away from home.

A lovely home near the beach. We had a really comfortble stay in this lovely home. We appreciated the furnishings, the decor and the comfy beds. The welcome pack was really helpful too. e would definitely stay again. Many thanks for hosting us.

We loved our few days at The Imperial Hotel. The location was perfect for a walk along the beach and then into the town. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful facade of hotel and walking through the gardens next door. It was great to be able to park immediately outside the reception and know that the car was safe. The staff were friendly and efficient. We didn't visit the restaurant but the bar was cosy, comfortable and inviting.

The reception staff and the bar staff were very lovely and thoughtful especially when the takeaway orders arrived and somone at the reception would let me know through the phone calls. The view from the bedroom was great too, my mum and I didn't go far because it was raining outside so we stayed in but we can still get to see the seaviews! Room was a bit cold but someone provided extra heater for us before our arrivals. As I have severe anxiety disorder, the hotel helped us to find a room where's really quiet and I love that!

    Great location and dog friendly. All the staff at the Pool restaurant were amazing as was the lady receptionist on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there was a French gentleman on duty outside and in the restaurant on Monday afternoon who was not so welcoming! Surely, all staff should be trained to a 5 star standard? Sorry Michael but you need to know. Happy to discuss further if necessary.

    Staff friendly from moment of arrival quick and easy book in. Plenty of parking on site at £6 a day. Dog friendly. Plenty of choice for buffet breakfast, Cooked breakfast was ok but only choice of egg was scrambled. Location of hotel could not of been any better. Hotel clean and had a lovely feel about it. We especially found Paul the bartender extremely friendly knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure our small group had a lovely time. Thank you for the great service Paul… We have already booked a return trip.

    Breakfast was excellant, some continental/cereal offer and a lovely cooked choice too. Small but nice bar, lounge and our dog able to join us. Room had a water bowl, poop bags and a ball to welcome our four legged friend. Good location with gardens and dog walking area in front of hotel, 5 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to town centre, railway station.

    Food ok. Breakfast good.staff excellent.room adequate….six pounds to park car in hotel grounds….questionable and charging ten pounds for bringing the dog without anything to justify! We stay at other hotels and pay twenty pounds and are given treats..blanket ..water bowl and a sachet of dog food!…well done we thought.

    The hotel has a great location, it is so pet friendly and made us feel really welcome with our two doggies, the hotel was clean or though looking a bit tired around the edges, we had a balcony room this could of done with a clean the table and floor from moss. Breakfast was good but could of been better with other stuff i.e black pudding or mushrooms and we went half board and 3 courses was very nice, well cooked and tasty, drink were good value to me and my wife had a great night
