John and Julian were simply the sweetest. My partner and I made a last minute booking and we are so glad we did! The room was very nice, warm, cozy, and clean. The views were so beautiful from the bedroom and dining room. We were lucky to experience a beautiful sunrise during our (delicious!!) breakfast. Also—John was incredibly helpful with giving us recommendations and directions for our trip through the highlands. Staying at Croft Cottage is definitely a must if you are exploring the west coast!

This hotel has recently been refurbished and is now one of the best hotels in the area. Good parking for our motorcycles at the back of the hotel. Rooms are clean and well decorated. We had an excellent evening meal which was tasty and very good value for money. The prices in the bar are very reasonable. The buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Location was great, off the beaten track, somewhere you may not explore otherwise with a beautiful walk down to the loch to watch the sunset. Seori is a lovely, intelligent guy who made us feel completely at home. Brilliant place to stay.

What an amazing cabin! Spotlessly clean, views are so amazing from the cabin. And you see deer running around in the mornings. Top spot around Ulapool.

The Shepherd's Hut was exactly as described and perfect for the two of us for a couple of days/nights. It was well located for our journey along the NC500. The surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful and the porch is a great place to enjoy dinner, a cup of coffee, or your book, while watching the water (with the fan on to deter the midgies, of course!). The hut had all we needed in the kitchenette for easy meals and we loved the shampoo/conditioner/soap brand in the shower. Jane and Andrew are wonderful hosts, kind and easy to talk to. We loved hearing about their travel experiences!
