Beautiful property, very well designed with lots of green space and individual separated rooms for maximum privacy. Aesthetically pleasing design for rooms with well kept and clean interior. Location is superb as well, nice clean beach on the front and beautiful backwater lake on the back and is walking distance from mangroves canoe ride activity. Very serene and peaceful. The owner Prashanth is an amazing host and a great guy, gave us a free upgrade and went above and beyond in his hospitality. A great place to vacation.

Nice and attentive host. He was very accommodating and flexible for our needs which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, air-conditioning worked, and the shower was hot. The apartment was a decent size and the location was great. It's in a quiet street less than 5mins walk to the beach and about 10mins to the station.

"Value for money. Very nice and good service. Staff was very good. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part of the city."The property owner was very kind. The rooms were maintained very clean, toilets hygienic and courteous behaviors of staff. Moreover good ventilation in non a/c rooms. Transportation excellent. No need to depend on Autos as KSRTC bystand is very nearby. Excellent place to stay.

We had time crunch so we stayed only 1 day but we wish we could stay longer in this beautiful homestay.. the canal side nature beauty and the amenities in the homestay are top notch. Within 2 km of Munrothuruttu railway station this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!! The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! Devika and her family are very warm and kind. They made us feel at home. The homestay is peaceful and very clean with a wonderful garden, and Devika cooks the most delicious meals. We did the sunrise boat trip with Devika's father in law, which was beautiful. Thanks for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The incredible homecooked food, the quiet calm of the surrounding nature, the sunrise canoe rides and the kindness of Uni and his family made this one of my favorite stays after a month of traveling India. I highly recommend staying here!
