Everything went well. We were at the hotel for four days. Hotel is centrally located for activities in the region. Rooms were spacious with great view. We liked being able to walk out on to our private terrace. Staff was efficient and warm.

we had a room with lake view in the corner so we could have seen the aurora (if it had shown up) 😂 bathroom and room was spacy. we liked the amenities and the pasta was AMAZING

Very nice place in an amazing part of Iceland. The host was very friendly and came to see if everything is OK. The place is magnificent and the house is fully equipped (fridge, oven, washing machine... exactly what we needed at half of our journey). You can prepare your own supper / breakfast and eat on the patio or inside with a view on the lake. We did the Diamond Circle from here and the ash volcano across the road 😉 Don't worry about the small flies... they are harmless and all over the Myvatn region... nothing to do with this very place . The house is very well kept with beautiful antiques. The view of myvatn lake from the house is stunning. The house has a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay in the house.
