Our stay at Little Moon Villa was wonderful. The villas are very spacious and stylish, bed extremely comfortable, overlooking the sea, with a wide terrace. The staff are so very helpful and friendly, they helped us with our transfer, motorbike rent and gave tips about the nice beaches at Koh Mak. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, with quality coffee in the morning. The sea at the side of Little Moon is not ideal to swim in but we really did not find it problematic, since Koh Mak is very small and very easy to get around by bike/mototbike/golfcar, so we explored the island and were happy to return to this lovely hotel every night.

The Owner is the nicest guy in the world. He helped me a lot with buying ferry tickets and also helped me to get from pier to the resort. The Place is beautiful located at the beach and surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s perfect! The Bungalow is great - all that u need is there! The place is just amazing!

Truly the most upmarket place on Koh Mak. Breakfast was perfect and the beds were comfy what is pretty rare in Thailand. Within 10 days we stayed in both the standard and the beach front Sala Villa. Both rooms were stylish decorated and super spacious. Big thanks to Naszi. She was very kind and we could contact her anytime for any request.

The room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The staff was very attentive to ensure everything was okay. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in, in the region.

The place is really idyllic. The house perfectly married with the environment, which is a rarity. Really quiet and completely immersed in the green but close to everything. AC and fan. Some kitchen supplies. Nice patio and nice window that opens onto the terrace.

With lake views, The River Retreat Koh Mak is situated in Ko Mak and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden and terrace.

My personal heaven on earth and the most beautiful place I stayed at during my trip with so many lovely details that show the love that was put into creating this paradise! I especially loved the decoration & the beautiful bathroom with separate hot and cold showers, the super comfy bed with mosquito net, the terrace with seating and a hammock as well as a water bucket to clean your feet from sand before stepping onto the porch, the free tea & coffee with water kettle as well as the refillable glas bottles in the fridge with a water dispenser at the reception. The location is perfect with tons of restaurants and cafes around, an amazing massage place right beside (Jan Jao Massage), lots of scooter & bicycle rental options a few meters away (I rented my scooter from Totti and had a great experience with the owner giving me an introduction & driving lesson as it was my first time to ride a scooter) as well as a well stocked pharmacy. I also really enjoyed an evening of great cocktails and live music at Khun Mam‘s Kitchen close by. You can easily tour the whole island from here and come back to this little paradise after a day out. Keep in mind that you are in a wooded hut in the jungle so there are insects getting into the bungalow no matter how clean it is kept.

We stayed at Koh Kood Garden House from April 1st to 5th and had a wonderful time! We booked the cheapest room – it was small, but very nicely decorated and super cozy. If you’re traveling with large suitcases, we’d recommend going for a room upgrade if available. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, including the lovely owners who were always happy to assist with anything we needed. We also booked a fantastic snorkeling and fishing trip through the hotel – definitely worth it! A big thank you again for the outstanding service on our departure day: we accidentally left a jacket at the restaurant, and without us even calling, another taxi intercepted ours to return it. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Nara is an outstanding host who speaks perfect English and is incredibly attentive from the very first message on WhatsApp. She checks in to see if you need anything and even offers her own motorbike so you can explore the beautiful island with ease. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a lovely lady who can clean and change the sheets upon request. Everything is made simple and comfortable, surrounded by nature, and the value for money is unbeatable. Thank you for everything, Nara — we’ll definitely be back soon!
