Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town.

The hotel offers a combination of fresh and friendly colours with comfort and functionality. The reception is open daily from 6:00 until 23:00. The Steinenachanze Hotel was perfect for us, close to the city center, very good staff, clean and spacious rooms with great price, beautiful breakfest area with good alternatives to eat.

Boasting a lift, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Room was big, comfortable and had two windows overlooking lovely countryside. Brigitte was welcoming and helpful. We could use the coffee machine in the kitchen and place our motorcycle in the shed.
