We felt extremely well cared for and we would come back in a heartbeat. We did not have time to fully take advantage of the hotel offerings as there was so much for us to see in Florence. The breakfast is so beautiful and the cocktails to die for. Returning to Florence would be in part enticing to be able to return to La Gemma.

The accommodation features a lift, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Everything was perfect : we had a large ensuite room decorated with taste and sobriety. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. Delicious breakfast & perfect location (5 min walk from San Marco, less than 10 to Galleria dell’Academia and to the Duomo). The cherry on cake was the staff, so nice and accommodating. 100% recommended for your stay in Florence, will come again!

The staff were incredibly friendly and caring, going above and beyond by upgrading my room and leaving thoughtful notes. He was super helpful all through the trip; not only at the start where he kindly helped get our luggage to the floor but also then telling us about the authentic hotels to grab a breakfast or the leather shops to visit. The house itself is cozy and well maintained - perfect for a family of 4! The property is very close to the key attractions and Fabio’s helpful nature made it better!
