While I have been lucky to stay at some locations with great and friendly staff this was my best experience so far. A newer homestay with some of the most helpful staff I have come across. The room was good sized, had a kettle with free nescafe packets, provided free drinking water in refillable, bottles, great AC, and a comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a hot shower as it was instead warm but considering the outside temperatures this wasn't an issue for me My rate included a free breakfast buffet and I enjoyed many of my other meals there due to the prices and quality of the food They don't overcharge as you will see other places on the island for activities and even get a 10% discount on dives at the scuba diving shop next door. With only 10 rooms I plan on booking ahead further out as I expect it will be harder in the future to get a spot.

Whether it was arranging excursions, helping with local tips, or just their friendly chats, they made us feel completely at home. The rooms were spotless and cozy, with all the comforts you could ask for. The location is also ideal — just a short walk from the beach and everything else on the island. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, value, and the kindest people you’ll ever meet, look no further. Navaya Dhiffushi is perfect in every way. We’ll definitely be back!

Boasting an open-air bath and views of garden, Bahaaru Villa Surf and Stay is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Himmafushi, 400 metres from Himmafushi Beach. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. Everything. Diya made our days so comfy and lovely. Also we met the owners and we felt like family. The location is perfect, 5 minutes to the port and restaurants and 5 to surf. Very clean (they clean the room everyday) and quiet. Room big with ac and fan and private toilet with towels, soap and shampoo. Outside amenities for eating and surfer (rack, shower, toilette).
