Room was nice and bed comfort.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. It was an amazing experience. The cabin and surrounding areas were beautiful, located beside a scenic river. Hosts, Tony and his wife, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The apartment has family rooms. Everything was amazing; the location, cleanness, super friendly and helpful owners, comfort, equipments they provide, everything! Highly recommended location for watching the northern lights, even from your warm rooms facing the lake (see the photo below that we took from our living room), and amazing place for hiking. We'd definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived at Niehku Mountain Villa, I was captivated by its unique design and welcoming ambiance. Nestled in the spectacular Riksgränsen, the villa offers breathtaking mountain views that make the winter morning special. The architecture, inspired by local heritage, blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a luxurious yet cozy experience. The staff at Niehku were not just friendly but genuinely attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms, though not large, were elegantly designed, providing all the comforts one could ask for after a day in the mountains. The sauna, with its panoramic views, was a highlight, offering a serene way to unwind. Dining at Niehku was a culinary delight; the menu focused on local ingredients, with dishes that were both hearty and sophisticated. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meals. Simply relaxing by the fireplace after a day in the mountain was such a nice experience. What stood out was the personal touch in every aspect, from the bespoke adventures to the warm, home-like atmosphere of the villa.

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated 5.7 km from Kiruna Train Station, Scandic Kiruna offers 4-star accommodation in Kiruna and has a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has free bikes, as well as a fitness centre and a sauna. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.7 km from Kiruna Bus Station. It was pleasant to stay at Scandic Kiruna. You can find the snowy landscape at the door. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to go on tours, you can find the guide office in a hundred meters. The breakfast offered a good selection of food and drink, even for vegetarians. If you want to see the northern light, this place is a good starting point.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary entrance ticket to the IceHotel. The area around the property is popular for outdoor winter activities such as dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours. The staff will also be happy to arrange activities such as river rafting, hiking, and fishing. During summer season, guests will experience midnight sun. In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. We went on Ice Fishing Tour with Snowmobile and it was the trip of our lives. Our guide, Anton, was amazing! Anton was super knowledgeable, caring and responsible in ensuring all of our safety, comfort and fun.

The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking. Location is good, especially in our case that we had a rented car. Delicious breakfast and fresh every morning
