We traveled to Maribor with my wife in November and stayed there for only one night. The property is about 2 km from the city center and about 1 km from one of the biggest shopping malls in Maribor. The apartment is big and can accommodate 4 people. It was very easy to meet with the host. She explained all details clearly. the air conditioner kept the entire property warm all night long. The property has a nice balcony and a free space for car parking. The Wi-fi worked well. I also like the cleanness of the property.

Located in the middle of an archaeological site from the Roman period. Part of the nearby woods is a bird reserve. A hiking route starts from the property and leads to the hill peak. The location is very nice, it has a large yard, well organised with sunbeds and chaires for everybody. It is a quiet location, close to the center of the city (5 minutes by car). The host is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is excelent, with fresh food.

A recently renovated apartment located in Maribor, Semper Liberi features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.9 km from Maribor Train Station. Great location in a quiet, peaceful setting outside of the city, but close from highway exit with pizza restaurant at a walking distance, we liked private check in with lockbox which gave us check in flexibility and no need of personal intetaction as we arrived late and vere tired. Parking was s big bonus! Apartment is clean and spacious. We had a great stay .

I have never seen anyone being so genuinely friendly.

The apartment is very new and has been lovingly created with great attention to detail; from traditional window frames which form part of the banisters, to the beautiful wooden floors and the wood-burning oven. The apartment is well-equipped, towels and bedding are provided and if we needed anything else then we only had to ask and our host provided it immediately. We were given fresh milk, apples, coffee and sweets upon arrival which we much appreciated! The apartment is located above the pizzeria and if you order the delicious pizzas everything is brought up to your terrace (including cutlery, plates and sauces) and you can eat in your own little space whilst listening to the owls call. We ate all our meals on the terrace with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, the lake beyond the trees and the mountains in the distance. Markovci is a sweet little town, with two shops, a pharmacy and an amazing ice cream shop! The village is just a few minutes walk from the lake and a stunning nature reserve. The gorgeous town of Ptuj is just a short drive away and well worth a visit (or two). It is true that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the apartment next door. But this wasn’t a problem as they got up and went to bed about the same time as we did. The apartment had air conditioning which was excellent during the summer heat. All in all we loved our stay, we felt very welcome and were impressed by our host, the apartment, the village and indeed Slovenia as a whole. We would love to come again, thank you for a lovely stay!
