Situated on the banks of the Inglis river, The Waterfront Wynyard offers a range of accommodation types in their motel units, all north-facing, with views across the waterfront precinct. For your entertainment, the property also has kayaks, golf clubs and bikes for guest use. It was a great location right on the river and pretty well walk every where the room was comfortable and love the fact about the pillows

Waratah on York is located in a restored Victorian mansion, just 5 minutes’ walk from Launceston city centre. It features free off-street parking and Wi-Fi internet access.

Waratah On York overlooks Launceston City Park and is a 5-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Cataract Gorge is only 3 km away, and Launceston Airport is a 20-minute drive. The building is beautiful and the room was lovely. There was a water jug available, and even some mint Mentos — which really helped during our long drive! It’s the little touches like these that show how thoughtful and welcoming this place is. It’s become one of my favorites, and I’d love to stay here again next time I visit Launceston.

Cradle Mountain Highlanders offers secluded cabins on the edge of Cradle Mountain National Park. It provides convenient, self-catering facilities and is a 5-minute drive from the park’s entrance.

Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. It was a special and peaceful retreat in a cabin surrounded by the forest. Both the reception area and the cabins were beautifully designed. The fireplace inside the cabin kept us very warm—so much so that at night, we even left the window slightly open while the fire was still going. It was conveniently close to the Visitor Centre and Devils @ Cradle. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, but I’d recommend bringing enough ingredients if you plan to cook your own meals.

Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart offers premier facilities, where guests can work out in the state-of-the-art fitness club or indulge in a skyline swim with views of Mount Wellington in the indoor pool. You can unwind over high tea at The Atrium Bar or reserve a table at the contemporary Restaurant Tasman which overlooks the harbour. Fantastic dining room. Food excellent and staff went out of their way to deal with our late arrival from a three day hike. Kitchen stayed open and chef was outstanding.

In the centre of Hobart, located within a short distance of Short Beach and Hobart Convention And Entertainment Centre, Hobart City Townhouse offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such as a microwave and kettle. This apartment provides free private parking and full-day security. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. Highly recommend this accommodation as it is conveniently located to everything, extremely comfortable and yet away from the crowds. The beds were luxurious and little touches like bath salts for the bath were appreciated. Larissa even bought a coffee plunger to make me happy. I reckon this is the pick if you are looking for 2 bedrooms. Larissa was a superb hostess and answered my questions without delay. Fabulous having a bathroom upstairs as well as a toilet downstairs. We couldn’t ask for more in townhouse accommodation.
