Very clean and spacious room! We stayed one night in the room La Nature and we slept amazingly, it was clean, quiet, big room and with a big bathroom with all necesities, comfy beds and with a modern air conditioning unit. The workers are very kind, hard working, service minded, and they do their work with a smile! The hotel offers the services of a bar with terraza and a restaurant with a dining hall serving a breakfast buffet for 9€ and offering dinner service in the evening. We enjoyed the pool and sun beds. We would definitely come back.

The location was amazing. Right in the heart of nature with mountains and waterfalls all around. The room was great with a window that opened to the view of the waterfalls. Breakfast was amazing. Very extensive buffet. A bar and outside patio was also a welcome bonus to sit outside and take in the views. Hiking trails all around. Very tranquil place to retreat to.

There was a good view of the mountains from the road. They give a complimentary bottle of wine at check in.. they did have a pool and a playground for kids. The grocery store didn't bother to turn on lights, so it was hard to see what they had. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more euros to stay in one of the hotels nearby.

    Good base for hiking.

Good base for hiking. There are plenty of hiking trails, with various difficulty levels. Everyone can find something suitable, from families with kids to experienced hikers. Shopping is one of the main attractions for the visitors. Due to low taxes prices are much lower. There are so many shops, with all possible products.

'Old' Ainsa is a relatively small but beautiful and interesting place. Our stay coincided with the end of their village festival, so there was plenty going on. On two nights we ate at a restaurant a couple doors down from the hotel, which specialised in pizzas but had many other options too - this was good, well-priced food, served very efficiently. We were based in Ainsa for quick access to the surrounding Pyrenees, and enjoyed two fabulous walks (Portal de la Cunarda and the Valle de Pineta). There's a large and cheap car park just outside the town walls (3 euros for 24hrs). There's also a very interesting bird of prey centre - museum and recovery centre - well worth a visit!

I visited Benasque to compete in the Vuelta al Aneto trail race. The race started and ended in Benasque. Benasque is a great base for outdoor activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking) with many shops providing gear and support for your adventures. Closest to the spectacular National Park of "Ordesa y Monte Perdido". This Park can compete with the best National Parks in the U.S.A. and China. Torla is a cute village and Broto with its cascade is close. You can also visit AINSA, one of the most beautiful villages of Spain and the Añisclo Canyon, with its microclimate and liquenes. Do not forget to visit also other glacier valleys in the area, outside the Park. The Park has a limit to the number of visitors per day and in the weekend the Guards of the Park may block the access if there are too many visitors.

The best of this little town is that you have peace, quiet and also places to go for dinner, coffee shops and very nice for a little town. Very close to Queralbs and also you have cremallera to go visit Vall de Nuria, really beautifull place. We went in September, nice weather, not to hot, not cold at all. Good ski domain and easy access to the slopes.

Good ski domain and easy access to the slopes. Well managed ski slopes and helpful welcoming people all around. The only issue is the noisy nature of the town with a lot of drunk people shouting at night. The smell of joints is also very common everywhere, including on the chair lifts, almost as common as in Amsterdam before the change of rules. This should be better managed as I had not noticed this when I came 8 years ago. Shopping is limited if you don’t want cigarettes, alcohol, make up. A lot less options than a few years ago. Found lots of good restaurants with a wide variety of food options at reasonable value. Overall, a good base for skiing but with compromises.
