- From $196.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,839 reviewsI am a fan of Falkensteiner Funimation! Aquí hablan excelente español (Doria), inglés (Mario) y me imagino que muchos otros idiomas. Me and my family always feel at home here and have been coming back every year at least once❣️ Firstly, excellent location and spacious and safe parking space, welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms, great food options and amenities, right in front of the beach! 🏖️🍹🍸 I love your flip-flops, every time I go, a pair of typical white and blue flip-flops 🩴awaits for me in the room! So comfortable to wear for dinner, breakfast or to go to the beach! I usually wear them when I go back from my trip until they are destroyed completely from wearing, and many times I have been asked about them! What is Falkensteiner, they look nice, love the colors 💙🫶 This time around, No flip-flops in the room 🥺 so I went to the reception desk to inquire about them. I was so lucky that Doria&Mario were at the desk, they arranged for the flip-flops to be delivered to our room which made me very happy (i got a 38-40 size, i am 42, so this time I wasn’t able to wear them, tried to change them the next day, Doria&Mario were not there, but the girl at the reception said she would look for a bigger size and would send them to the room. I guess the big sizes were gone! ) The way Doria handled the inquiry was very profesional, eager to find the flip-flops in the cabinets that were nowhere to be seen, along with Mario who was very kind an warm at the time of our check-in, meant a lot to me! Thank you 🙏🏼 (we were not able to complete the online check-in so we checked-in at the reception) Also, my mom and I noticed that this year, you put extra trash bins out in the parking area which we loved, very, very useful!Guest review byTaniaCroatia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 683 reviewsCertainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.Guest review bySven Boris SchreiberGermany

Staff is so polite and friendly. Check it went very smooth. Our room was clean and very comfy. Bed was soooooo good. We slept like baby's. And the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very good with so many variations. We enjoyed out time at Bernardin hotel once more.Guest review byBenko B.Austria

The entire camping site is amazing, with a lot of parks and amusement sites for kids. There are also restaurants and supermarkets within the site (a bit more expensive) but everything is at arm’s length.Guest review byJelenaSerbia

Dubrovnik is a wonderful city to visit but can get very busy. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to visit the main sites if you want to avoid the tour groups. The 3 and 7 day passes, to visit the main sites, are good value. Walking the city walls is a must and don't forget West Harbour, just outside the city walls.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The location was great. We walked everywhere. The bed was so comfortable. The 2 flights of stairs were tough with 3 bags of luggage but other than that, it was wonderful. We took a sunset cruise around Split that was excellent. Gelato shop next to apartment really came in handy!Guest review byGayleUnited States - 10

Great city. perfect old town and most importantly the promenade was simply beautiful. Just the right level of tourists - did not feel overwhelmingly crowded. Brilliant sunsets. Well connected for local sights such as Plitvice National Park, Kornati National Park, Nin town (not to be missed).Guest review byParitoshUnited Kingdom - 10

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.Guest review byVictoria Doncha KnoUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Really liked the small old town in Budva.
Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.Guest review byjohnUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The town is blessed by a glorious setting, the emerald green bay with steep mountains as a dramatic backdrop. The town itself is graced with more stylish Venetian palazzos that you can shake a stick at. But Kotor also suffers from the curse of colossal cruise ships, which can flood the tiny town with hundreds of tourists at once, even in October. There are lovely walks either side of the bay with cafes that have the most scenic views imaginable. It's a good way to get away from the crowds and to enjoy the spectacular panorama. If I had my time again, I would spend three nights in Kotor instead of six and spend at least two nights in Perast, an improbably picturesque spot.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10
The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone.
The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No! The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for. Little tip:- book restaurants early to avoid disappointment not obtaining a reservation.Guest review byjohn allardUnited Kingdom - 10
Beautiful city. I recommend exploring it by bike.
Beautiful city. I recommend exploring it by bike. Marinas full of yachts. The best-preserved colosseum. Something for fort enthusiasts. Lovely architecture and delicious food. A great base for exploring Istria. Close to the Kamenjak Peninsula and charming towns such as Poreč, Rovinj, and Novigrad. Beautiful beaches in Fažana and the opportunity to take a cruise to the Brijuni Islands. Aquarium Pula- highly recommend visit.Guest review byGrzegorzPoland - 10

I have been visiting Poreč for more than 10 years, and it is always a wonderful experience. It’s a very beautiful town with a charming atmosphere, lovely beaches, and plenty to see and do. Every visit feels special, and I will definitely keep coming back.Guest review byAtenaSlovenia - 6.0
It is a typical city on the Balcanian coast.
It is a typical city on the Balcanian coast. The main big problem at the moment is a heavy traffic when you enter the city from the east or south east. You spend a lot of time there and if you go for attractions in the neighbourhood, you have to calculate with this, In fact, it is a waisting of time. The problem occured because the works on the road, but it is really a big delay and there is no police, nobody who regulates thatGuest review byVladimirIsrael
