Clean, luminous, and comfortable room, really nice furniture. Not far from the city center, castle and restaurants. The staff speaks multiple languages and is helpful. Neighborhing parking space included. Breakfast sufficient, with fresh pancakes, in a nice room. The glass wall for the bathroom aera is peculiar, could be inconvenient but is quite modern/design (there are blinds to close the view). Coffee (machine) and tee included.

This is a new hotel with a good location, close to the town center. The staff is very helpful, especially the receptionists and the manager. The breakfast is now served in an another hotel but will be soon be served in the rooftop. I recommend this hotel

I stayed at Bujtina Bega for one night in Berat – everything was wonderful! A very cozy, clean, and authentic place that feels like home. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend this guesthouse enough, everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and traditional, the room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location is perfect, right in the centre of the town but peaceful and quiet. The hosts were really lovely and welcoming and when we enquired about taxi services in the town they offered to drive us to where we needed and collected us after, and wouldn’t accept payment for it. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious! Thanks for everything :)

    The castle walls on top of the hill are excellent to visit,...

    The castle walls on top of the hill are excellent to visit, but the experience is let down slightly by all the cars entering the castle grounds. The old town area is nice for a short visit, but not as extensive and "used" as other similar towns. The food in the restaurants ( outside the old town) was very good and reasonably priced.

    Berat is know as village/ town of 1000 windows.

    Berat is know as village/ town of 1000 windows. There are 2 area of the old town which are on both sides of the river. It worth just wandering the streets of both old towns. The view from the castle also gives a different perspective. A beautiful old town with so much character. Plan at least 2 nights so you have at least one full day but 2 would be better.

    Berat is fun to wander around in, with the castle on top of the hill still occupied as it was hundreds of years ago. The reason to go to Berat is the architecture and wonderful setting. Lots of good restaurant choices.
