The location is really great. Very centric all walkable distance to city centres. places are 10-15mins walk away. They communicate very well in English, and make your stay worth it. As a black solo female traveler and first time in Albania, staying there was beyond my expectation and the view from my room was beautiful!!!!

Host was very kind and helpful as he got us a taxi from the airport that took us to the front door. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, the A/C and wifi worked great. Breakfast was great and quite convenient. The place was about a 10 minute walk from the city centre and the local attractions, there was a supermarket right around the corner, and a pharmacy just a few steps further from that. The place is worth the stay, and at a very reasonable price.

Excellent location - right in the heart of the city, but in a lovely, quiet and safe spot. Clean, tidy, modern and spacious with excellent facilities - use of a kettle and fridge were particularly helpful with a young toddler. Owners were incredibly kind and helpful, especially with sourcing and directing us for parking.

We checked in around midnight and the gentleman at front desk, whose name I remember, but can't spell, was super sweet. The room was incredible, spacious and roomy, while the bathroom was something else. The spa facilities are also spectacular and worth visiting. A special shout-out to the cleaning staff, who were always helpful and checking to see if we had enough water in the room.

    I recently stayed at this hotel and was truly impressed. The atmosphere is very luxurious, yet comfortable and welcoming. Everything was spotless – the cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping both the rooms and common areas perfectly clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. From check-in to departure, they were always polite, helpful, and even showed us around the hotel. Service really makes a difference here. The food was another highlight – a wide variety of dishes, always fresh and delicious, with something for every taste. Even though the main restaurant was under renovation during my stay, the hotel had informed me in advance when I booked, which shows great transparency and professionalism. Facilities were excellent: sauna, spa, massage services, and even a quiet relaxation room included. The outdoor pool area was beautiful, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas by the beach, and several bars around the property so you’re never far from a drink or snack. It’s also a fantastic place for families with kids. Every day there were activities, entertainment, and mascots that children really enjoyed. This makes it easy for parents to relax while the little ones are having fun. I also felt very safe during my entire stay – no issues at all. Prices were very reasonable considering the luxury experience offered. Overall, this hotel combines cleanliness, comfort, excellent service, and great facilities at a fair price. Whether you are traveling as a couple, a family, or even solo, it’s a wonderful choice. I can only recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

    The attention of the person towards us. An spevial mention to the lady in the reception, she truly made us feel like home.     We arrived in the evening and toured Tirana the following...

    We arrived in the evening and toured Tirana the following day. That would have been enough but we stayed another day. The city has an amazing number of restaurants and cafes on nice tree lined streets. For some reason, Tirana has no historic town center like most European cities but the area around Skanderbeg Square is interesting. One is constantly reminded of the distressing time when the communists controlled the country and suppressed the entire population. Definitely visit the Bunk'Art 1 Museum (and Bunk'Art 2 if you have time). Also visit the "House of Leaves" museum to get a feeling for the incredible surveillance through which the communists controlled the country.

    It's inexpensive here, the sea is beautiful, but there are no attractions. And the biggest problem is cleanliness. There is a lot of trash on the beach, a lot of open trash cans, in some places it stinks of sewage, and in one place something is leaking from a large pipe right onto the sand on the beach. If you stay at a good hotel, you may not notice any of this. But if you go for a walk around the city, unfortunately, it is clear that there are major problems with cleanliness.

    Vore is well located between two main metropolitan cities in Albania. At the same time it’s a location where you can have a peace of mind. Being a small town one can not expect to have a metropolitan city has to offer but there is enough of what someone would need on daily bases.

    A quiet village location. The pizza/dining place almost next door was great value for money although the hotel restaurant served lovely meals too. Small shop nearby where you can purchase everything you need. The locals were very friendly and helpful. Not busy but prefer to feel as though I am in the country where I am staying so this suited me. Lovely runs in the morning and not too far away is a small island located by a wooden pier. You pay 10Euros to get on to it but it is a slice of heaven with a small eatery where you can get food and drinks. If I had been there longer I would have done one of the boat trips.

We learned, with your help, that Albania is a beautiful country, still in a period of reconstruction, full of wonderful and hardworking people, always ready to help you with everything they can. But perhaps the most important thing is that they have not forgotten that Romanians and Albanians have been, and still are, brothers. We are connected by both past and present. The first thing that surprised us about our host was the outstanding cleanliness we found inside the apartment. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything necessary, air conditioning in every room as well as in the kitchen, clean bed sheets, immaculate white towels, etc. It has happened to me to stay in luxury hotels and not find this level of perfection. About the hosts, we have only words of praise. Even before our arrival, they checked if we were all right, if anything had happened, and during our entire stay they were always there for us—at any hour—through WhatsApp and even through Mr. Nardi himself coming to the apartment in person, even though they live quite a distance away. We were pleasantly surprised that we even had free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. At our departure, they even offered to help us if we needed anything. Sincere congratulations to these people who once again showed us that Albanians are people with big hearts, always ready to help you as long as you respect them and come with good intentions to their country.

    We ate in Wood Flavour because it had one of the best ratings. This was well deserved as Dennis our host recommended the menu, kept us amused and gave us Raki lessons! He made the evening, his brother was the chef. We had a plate of charcuterie and cheese to start, Pork Kebabs, Beef tenderloin with chips and vegetables. A lot of wine and beer, cost for 4 very full tummies €90 lovely evening can well recommend this restaurant. Google can take you to strange places when you try and find it. The rest of Kavaje we didn't really explore as we stayed at Karpen beach

    Great little city (not so little, really, but the centre is...

    Great little city (not so little, really, but the centre is compact). People are very friendly and there's loads of bars and restaurants. Voodoo Rock Bar and Taproom by Pans were great bars. Daytrips were easy to organise and the staff were very responsive.

    Too much garbage on the streets.

    Too much garbage on the streets. No big seaside walk (existing one is separated from the sea, cannot see). Lot of constructions, and some buildings are abandoned. 7 euro per person for the beach (formally for umbrella? or per person? or per bed under umbrella? absolutely no info, no sign). This is cheaper than Spain/Italy/Croatia but the sea shore is not cleaned from algae. The sand is not cleaned. I would agree to 3-5 euro, or 15 for the family. Groceries, takeouts and cafeterias are mostly affordable and good. Fresh fruit street vendors are working long hours, I appreciate this. Night life exists, IMO lacks some relaxation, I don't know why. Generally lack of information is really a barrier -- for example prices are often not written, people speak Italian so I decided not to put effort to buy something. There was a feeling that different tourists can get different prices, and that's not fair, Please note Google street views from 2016-2019 are VERY OLD, now in 2025 much of Golem / Robit is seriously rebuilt and Google did not update. They don't have good address system so it is hard to explain what I recommend, but let's try: on Rruga Quemal 2504 (?) there is "Traditional restorant" / "I love albanian food" near SPAR, the food is great.

    Kavaja is a small place.

    Kavaja is a small place. There is a couple place you can see there, but you can eat well. For pizza we tried Renaldo place and it was very good. For dinner we have eaten in Wood flavour restaurant for very small amount money. Great value. I have written recension for that place also.
