We choose to spend the first days of the New Year here due to the excellent facilities it offers. Our first impression was very positive, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to enjoy. We decided to spend part of our day at the SPA, where one facility stood out in particular: the massages, which provided us with an unparalleled sense of relaxation.

I had the honor of being one of the first guests at this hotel and I must say this place is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tome for my entire stay. The room was spacious and equipped with all amenities one could ask for. The breakfast was boasted with a wide array of delicious options. They also have an amazing restaurant right by of the sea, where the food is the most delicious food I had.

    One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Dhërmi. The location was great, only 3 min walk to the beach. The room was beautiful and spacious with views of the sea and the swimming pool. Breakfast had a variety of choice and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. I could not recommend more the place as I’d definitely be coming back.

    I liked that the heart of the city was compact enough, you could walk everywhere. The city was safe and peaceful. Compared to other Albanian cities we visited, the city was cleaner, but there are also many unfinished and dilapidated buildings in the cityscape. I also want to say that the homeless dogs living in the city may seem cute, but a member of our group of friends was bitten by a dog and we had to go to the hospital for first aid. So a warning to other visitors to the city, be more careful with these dogs.

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    We absolutely love Vlora. The beach, the hotels, the restaurants, the food, the activities. This is why we go there very often. And in my opinion it has one of the best services in the whole country, perhaps even better than Tirana (the capital) itself.

    Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the...

    Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

    The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    The owners seemed to make the effort to provide with help and assistance, despite the lack of quality in the aspects below. For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that.     If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!

    "I wouldn't recommend anyone, because I was stolen from and lied to. They wanted to pay for my shorts and even asked for my bank details, but they didn't transfer the money they intended to! This is all a lie, these people are fake!" This all happened to „Social Camping“ After I complained, someone contacted me and threatened me. See picture that i uploaded!!!
