we did not know it was a "Singles" hotel but it was fine for my mother and us. People were friendly and staff was lovely and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and views were breathtaking. The forest and field/trail walks were lovely and hiking and swimming were our major pass times as well as visiting with friends. The indoor swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor pond a great plunging pond in September after a hot tub visit. Dinners were exceptional and breakfast is "healthy" with many choices. There is always a vegan/vegetarian option available.

Excellent room, very comfortable bed, good curtains, nice view, very modern bathroom (there are outside curtains on the glass walls of the bathroom, so the light does not affect the people in the room). Free private parking and excellent breakfast!!!!

    We had an unforgettable stay at Eidenberger Alm! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, nestled in the beautiful Austrian countryside — the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Dinner was an absolute highlight. We tried the yellow mushrooms with traditional dumpling — a true taste of Austrian comfort food — and the pork belly, which was rich, tender, and full of flavor. Everything was cooked with care and authenticity. To top it off, their house-brewed beer was excellent — crisp, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and cozy alpine charm made our experience truly special. Eidenberger Alm is a place we’ll be recommending to everyone, and we can’t wait to return!

    Aumühle hotel has been totally refurbished. Everything is in perfect conditions and looks like a new building. You can see they been using quality materials. Wellness has been renovated as well, perfect enjoyment! Regarding the breakfast. There was nothing we would miss / perfect service. Thank you for everything.

    Ars Elettronica not well organized. Most of the interactive screens are in German only. Many tech positions need assistants who are not present. There's not a logical path to follow. All 3D events are in German but one per day which is in English

    Great Donau bike routes, e.g. to Linz or the Eferding land route. A couple of good restaurants (e.g. Wögerer) but beware: not open for diner every day. Beautiful walking trail at Pesenbachtal near Mühlacker. The Badesee (actually 4 of them) great for sunbathing and swimming. A Golf court with an Italian restaurant. A great place for people who seek a couple of relaxing days in a rural environment with the beautiful city of Linz at some 20 km distance.
