- From $162.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 133 reviewsPicture perfect scenery and the best part that all rooms on the property are located that you get the best possible view of the river and mountains so that made for such a memorable weekend getaway for us. It was our anniversary celebration so could not have asked for a better panoramic view. Bonus points to the staff for being so friendly and helpful at all times it made our stay even better! We will definitely return for another weekend as soon as possible ♥️ Note: people with lower ride heights take care as the gravel road can be a bit difficult to navigate. We came in a convertible so this was the only poor part i.e. the end road quality. Otherwise no complaints!Guest review byNaumanHungary

A beautiful city with lots to see and places to visit.
A beautiful city with lots to see and places to visit. Safe walking in the streets even on the large avenues, drivers are very careful with the pedestrians. Public transport not very easy to use. It's a walkable city and taxis are not expensive for longer distances. A Danube night cruise is definitely a must!!! Remember lights on buldings go off at 10:30pm. Parliament in the night is magical. Buda site also a must and do get the small hop on hop off blue bus. It takes you to all sights and you do't miss a thing.Guest review byVasilikiCyprus - 8.0

Belgrade is beautiful and has so much history and the locals are very pleasant and welcoming. I enjoyed my walks along the knez Mihailova street, so beautiful and majestic. Belgrade is indeed a beautiful city. There's a Dino park at the kalemegdan fortress,it's perfect for kids. There's a small entrance fee. Lots of restaurants and cafes, everything you need in one place.Guest review byKhamikaUnited States Minor Outlying Islands - 8.0

Linz is an industrial and admin centre on the (definitely not blue) Danube river . Small airport with (as at July 2025) 2 flights a week from London STN. Pedestrianised town centre with a mix of old and new architecture gives no clue that the pleasant clean town has an active steel works. No special tourist draw but a reasonable base for touring and onward travel, Large Danube cruise ships stop at Linz but most passengers are sent to Salzburg by coach and make minimal contribution to the Linz economy.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult smokes and most cafes don't enforce a non-smoking policy. I unfortunately stayed in the centre of Stari Grad where all the loud bars and clubs are and there is no real legal policy on noise pollution. I honestly don't know how people live here full time. Due to this, I had to stay in a lot of other places on the weekends (+ I also visited Belgrade on occassion). This meant I could (hopefully) get some quality sleep. But having said this, I didn't get to fully explore the city and all it has to offer but the main area of Stari Grad is very nice culturally and a nice place to walk. I also think the river should be more accessible with nice paths alongside it. It's either a main stretch of busy road or once you hit a certain place it's blocked off and you have to pay the beach venue to access it which is a shame.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I was surprised at how much there was to see and do in this charming medieval town. We stayed for 4 nights which felt just right for visiting the castle, the Virgin Mary pilgrimage church, taking an afternoon boat ride on the Crystal ship, visiting the glass museum, and walking along the cobblestone streets to visit shops, art galleries, cafes, and bars. If we had more time I would have probably used the spot as a jumping off point for other local towns. We did a lot of walking to see the gorgeous views of the 3 rivers. Lots of history in this town - it was an unexpected gem.Guest review byVanessaUnited States - 10.0

It is a quaint town with old well preserved buildings and wineries in the area. For me it has a family connection as my 3x great grandfather was born there in 1826 and some of the places he lived and worked at still survive.Guest review bytedUnited States - 10.0

Galati was special, two days was a bit short.
Galati was special, two days was a bit short. - We took an early morning ferry over the Danube and back as foot passengers before breakfast. Fabulous sunrise, nice adventure. - Evening walk along the Faleza with beautiful impressing sculptures from the seventies. - Recommend restaurant Blue Acqua, good athmosphere and delicious fish dishes. Vegetarian options too. 20 minutes walk from the hotel along the Faleza. - We went sightseeing some fascinating abandoned steel industry areas.Guest review byAgnesRomania - 10.0

Nice to walk around by the riversides and within the city. Restaurant "Mahlzeit in Melk" has friendly staff, worth to sit in if hungry. House on the rock is an interesting house, worth to wander and wonder it around.Guest review byGáborHungary - 8.0
Marshall Cafeteria in Traian Square. Fantastic Cakes.
Marshall Cafeteria in Traian Square. Fantastic Cakes. One day I had “ Champagne “ . Next day “ Savarina”. But Champagne probably was of the best cake I had in my life. Rest of them. Red Velvet, Amandina, Carpați, Diplomat, Ecler, Backavas with chocolate, Baclavas for Fasting, drink “ Braga”. And many, many more. For exemple : Last time I drank Braga it was when I was a child. 8 to 10 years old. Now I am 57. So, was worth it this trip to Braila. I the the readers to decide about.Guest review byAdrianAustralia
