The old building refurbished into an apartment with facilities including local teas, dish washer and best of all, our own patio with herbs. Used the fresh growing mint for tea. Very tastefully done up. They compiled a list of places which was most useful in deciding high quality options for food and drinks.

In general, this is a very good hotel, new and clean, with wonderful facilities and very helpful staff. Location is 400 m to Giggijoch Bahn, which is 5 mins by feet or one bus stop. Ski room is great. Our room has a large balcony. Breakfast was awesome. Spa facilities and outdoor swimming pool are mind blowing. We used spa every day of our stay :)

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay — they really made me feel welcome. One of the highlights was the exceptional breakfast: full, varied, and absolutely delicious every morning. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and offered beautiful views that made waking up a pleasure. Though the is between the highway a river (Railway station on the other side), noise was not disturbing. Rather calm, relaxing place, with lot of sculptures, paintings. Rooms are modern, well equipped. We did not miss air condition. Kids were enthusiastic about the 2 friendly dog of the house laying around the stairs, main entrance... Location: If you have time walk over the wooden bridge , under the train lines and spend some time in the old city. Castle, Coinery (mint) powered by water wheel... Breakfast was delicious.

    This is the most gorgeous setting of all the hotels during my month long Europe vacation! The hotel is decorated perfectly for the beautiful mountain setting. The dinners and breakfasts were amazing, so glad we included them in our stay. It was nice after a day of hiking to know we didn't have to look for a place for dinner - our hotel had probably the best option around for miles! The staff was extremely helpful for hiking and adventure suggestions also.

    Our rooms were even better than the pictures. The hotel was cozy and even though it was a busy season, we never felt crowded. The food was absolutely fantastic. We were not sure what to expect, but there were plenty of options for our vegan a gluten free family members. It was our first time experiencing “half board” and we loved it.

    Amazing location. Mountains were beautiful. The pool was good to use although felt like it could have been warmer. The restaurant across the road was really good too for German/Austrian food.     We stopped over for one night on our trip from the Dolomites to Salzburg. I first visited Kitzbuhel in 1970 when I was on a high school trip. I wanted my husband to see what a charming Tyrolean town it is. We really enjoyed ourselves and the hotel was wonderful!

    nice town. Ideal base for early season hike (start of May) in Wilder Kaiser region. Most other places in vicinity are closed as main hiking season hasn't started yet. The local kaiserlift (chair lift) was open so takes you to start of good hikes..

    Our stay in Sölden was delightful, with our hotel perfectly located near the ski lift. The phenomenal après-ski, especially at Giggijoch summit on Friday, made our visit thoroughly enjoyable and extra fun.

    Not sure Lienz is on traveller's radar. It's a must when travelling to Austria. Easy to get to by train from Germany and from within Austria. A small town easily navigated on foot. It's stunning. It was a shame the gondola was not operating though.

    The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite that Ehrwald is in Austria, so one can travel freely there. The Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze and other locations are reachable by train/bus/cable car from Ehrwald. The Seebensee is fantastic lake, one can get there by a bus+cable car and using and normal road or a bus and a rather difficult via ferrata. Also there is an indoor climbing (about 15m high) gym with 4 automatic belaying stations in Ehrwald, so one can climb even during bad weather conditions.
