- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 833 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.Guest review byMarieUnited States
- From $1,492.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsTruly a 10/10 resort experience. The resort itself is magnificent from the showers, to the private pool, to the indoor/outdoor fountains and flowers around your villa. The beds in the villas were extremely comfortable, the closets and amenities were very large, and the showers were extremely comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the Villa just because of how magnificent it was. I would recommend anyone staying in Port Douglas to stay here, its the nicest resort I stayed in in my life and I was able to stay for $100 USD per night split across 5 people.Guest review byKyleUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 210 reviewsAbsolutely beautiful. Balinese style setting. I felt I had died and gone to heaven! The 2 pools were great especially the lap pool, definitely big enough for a good workout, most times I was the only one in pool. Quiet and great location. Room was a good size, comfortable mattress, small fridge and kitchenette. Plenty of covered outside sitting areas near the pools with barbecues provided if needed.Guest review byKarenUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 137 reviewsThe location was ideal, just a few of blocks from town for shopping/dinner, less than two blocks from the gorgeous Four Mile Beach, and a little more than that from the marina for our reef cruise. The apartment was spotless, spacious, kitchen well stocked for our needs. Pool was lovely. We were three adults, but I think this would be ideal for a family with young children.Guest review byKathrynUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 59 reviewsVERY FRIENDLY host/staff and accomodating. Made friends along the stay which was wee bit too short for us. Very comfortable area. One of the Highlights of our stay was the beautiful peacock that made us doesnt feel like we’re in Australia. Would love to stay there again when there’s an event happening.Guest review byFajarUnited Arab Emirates

Fantastic place to visit.
Fantastic place to visit. Been there a few times but this trip exceeded my expectations. Hire a car you wont be disappointed Daintree, Mossman Gorge just to name a few. Too many great restaurants to name.Guest review byMossAustralia - 10.0
We love Mossman as a quick stay on our way to the Daintree.
We love Mossman as a quick stay on our way to the Daintree. The Woolies is great to re stock, we had pies from the lovely organic dough pie shop and were excited to be traveling through on a Saturday as Mossman markets are one of our favorites (and we’ve visited a few!)Guest review bykimAustralia - 10.0

Cottonwood is like an estate all to yourself, well- and fully-appointed, in close proximity to Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree & the rainforest. More than enough amenities. It might be considered "expensive" by some but not by us, not for what you get for your money. Amenities? It does not lack any and actually exceeds what most would consider "more-than-enough", much less "the basics". And the Hosts are just that, to a tee: Helpful beforehand and during our stay. Thank you very much.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination!
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination! Beautiful town with great restaurants and a superb 4 mile long beach (subsequently named ;-)). The town has such a relaxed feel about it and one could easily laze away the day at a cafe or beach, or take a ship and go out to explore the reef! I will definitely head back for a longer stay in the future!Guest review byDelanoSouth Africa - 10.0
Mossman is actually closer to the Daintree and Cape...
Mossman is actually closer to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation than Port Douglas, but Port is a very short drive away to be able get to reef cruises and activities there. Mossman is the old town, still with elements of 'country', check out the Exchange Hotel (there is a Woolworths on the edge of town - I wish they'd hide it behind large trees) and a regular market every Saturday (10.00 am - 1.00 pm) in the historic church grounds. It is not overwhelmed by tourism, but the surrounding areas have B&B and accommodation options. Mossman Gorge is an amazing upland rainforest experience. You get one of the mini-busses from the Visitor Info Centre (every 15 mins until 5.30 pm) This takes you to the walking trail. The first part is boardwalk, then an easy bush trail in a circuit. The forest is spectacular, very relaxing to see & hear the water of the Mossman River. Sit on the seating or a rock near the trail and wonder at the profusion of life that fills every space. TIP: Take a towel & wear swimmers, as there is a rock pool about 2/3 of or the way along the bush trail with clear fresh water, safe to wade & cool off in.Guest review byBruceAustralia - 10.0
Port Douglas is the perfect place to set your own pace.
Port Douglas is the perfect place to set your own pace. Our location made it easy to get around by foot no need for transport. Gorgeous weather, with a very relaxed atmosphere, there is something for everyone to do. Treat yourself to a meal at Seabean Tapas and Bar well worth it. For an wow experience go on the Cassowary Falls tour it was spectacular and small group.Guest review byLianneAustralia - 10.0
